Bagasara, situated in the vicinity of the gently flowing waters of the Satladi River and known as the sacred land of the renowned national poet Shri Zaverchand Meghani, is a city with a strong and vibrant heritage. It was on this proud land that the roots of Shri Saurashtra Nagrik Sharafi Sahakari Mandali Ltd. were planted. In earlier times, Bagasara was renowned as one of the major trading centers of Saurashtra, and even today the city has established its unique identity across the country through its artistic Aari embroidery and the exquisite jewellery known as “Bagasara Ghat.”
